DIRECTIONS: In the given question two equations numbered I and II are given. You have to solve both the equations.


I. \(x=\sqrt{625}\)

II. \(y=\sqrt{676}\)  

Options:
A) x>y
B) x≥y
C) x<y
D) x≤y
E) x = y or the relationship cannot be established
Solution:
\(x=\sqrt{625}=25\)

\(y=\sqrt{676}= 26\)

positive square root is already given so only positive value need to take.....Hence, x<y is correct answer....
