Cp of 3 eggs = 1/3*3= 1
cp of 3 eggs = 1/6*3=0.48. total cp of 6 eggs =1.48
sp of 6 eggs = 2/9*6=1.33. loss =1.48-1.33= 0.15
loss% = loss/cp *100
0.15/1.48*100= 10.13%
accordingly it must be none of these. plz correct me if em wrong

Question:
An egg seller sells his eggs only in the packs of 3 eggs, 6 eggs, 9 eggs, 12 eggs etc., but the rate is not necessarily uniform. One day Raju (which is not the same egg seller) purchased at the rate of 3 eggs for a rupee and the next hour he purchased equal number of eggs at the rate of 6 eggs for a rupee. Next day he sold all the eggs at the rate of 9 eggs for Rs. 2. What is his percentage profit or loss?
Options:
A) 10% loss
B) 11.11% loss
C) 3% loss
D) 2.5% profit
E) None of these
Solution:

CP of one egg (in first case) = \(\frac{1}{3}\) = 33.33 paise

CP of one egg (in second case) = \(\frac{1}{6}\) = 16.66 paise

Average CP of one egg = \(\frac{33.33+16.66}{2}\) = 25 paise

SP of one egg = \(\frac{200}{9}\)    (Rs. 1 = 100 paise)

loss = \(\frac{25-\frac{200}{9}}{25}\) × 100  (loss% = \(\frac{CP-SP}{CP}\) × 100)

= 11.11% loss

11.11 is correct answer

sol. assume that he get total 36 eggs.....18 at 6 rs. (3eggs per rs.) and 18 at 3 rs{ 6 eggs per rs}
so the total cost price is 9 rs. and he sell it at 9 eggs per 2 rs....so the selling price is 8 rs....here we get loss of 1/9 it means 11.11%
