HOW ROUND OFF SHOULD BE TAKE

Question:
DIRECTIONS:- What approximate value should come in place of question mark (?) in each of the following questions?
(13.67)4 = ?
Options:
A) 33315
B) 34900
C) 35800
D) 36300
E) 37815
Solution:
Ans: (b) 
\(13.67\approx13.7,(13.7)^2 \)
\(\approx169+18=187\)
Also, \((187)^2=34969\approx34900\)

Hi Neha, it depends on questions and its option from which you have to choose the answer......if it goes on algebraic formula like whole square of a+b or whole cube of a+b then no need to take approximation just apply formula and you will get the answer...but if no formula can apply then take nearest number like in this question 13.67 has been taken to 13.7.....or you can take 13.67 to 14 as per option given...or 13.67=13.5..like this.....
