There is a possibility of x = -25*-25 = 625 and y = -26*-26 = 676 and it should also be considered. Ans should be no relation can be established.

Sq root of 625 can be -25 also, root of negative num is not possible but square of a negative can be a perfect square of a num.

Question:

DIRECTIONS: In the given question two equations numbered I and II are given. You have to solve both the equations.


I. \(x=\sqrt{625}\)

II. \(y=\sqrt{676}\)  

Options:
A) x>y
B) x≥y
C) x<y
D) x≤y
E) x = y or the relationship cannot be established
Solution:
\(x=\sqrt{625}=25\)

\(y=\sqrt{676}= 26\)
