here
x=-11 or -11/6
y=2 or -11
so answer should be x

Question:
Directions : In the given question two equations numbered I and II are given. You have to solve both the equations and Give answer if

I. 6x2 +77x +121 = 0

II. y2 + 9y – 22 =0

Options:
A) X > Y
B) X ≥ Y
C) X < Y
D) X ≤ Y
E) X = Y or the relationship cannot be established
Solution:

I. 6x2 +77x +121 = 0

⇒6x2 + 66x + 11x + 121 = 0

⇒6x (x  + 11) + 11 (x + 11) = 0

⇒ (x + 11) (6x + 11) = 0

⇒ x = -11 or –\(\frac{11}{6}\)

II. y2 + 11y – 2y – 22 = 0

⇒ y (y + 11) -2 (y + 11) = 0

⇒ (y – 2) (y + 11) = 0

⇒ y = 2 or -11

Given answer is correct......

You must know first how to correlate.....

See:

x= -11 or -11/6 and y=2 or -11

-11<2 means x<y

-11 = -11 means x=y

-11/6 < 2 means x<y

-11/6 > -11 means x>y

Here all the three inequalities symbols occurred....and in this case no relationship can be established.....
