Incorrect solution and answer (Question:271906.0)

Correct solution will be:
- 39th from left end
- 52nd from right end

Question:

In a row of 90 students, Prerna is 51 from left and Nishant is 64 from right. If Vipul is in middle of Prerna and Nishant, what are Vipul’s position from both the ends?

Options:
A)

49 and 62

B)

45 and 52

C)

43 and 61

D)

48 and 60

Solution:

Ans: (a) 

Number of persons between Prerna and Nishant = (64 + 51) – Total – 2 = 95 – 90 –2 = 5 – 2 = 3

  

Vipul position from left end = 51 – 2 = 49

Vipul position from right end = 64 – 2 = 62
