Incorrect question/figure. (Question: 250752.0 )

Mumtaaz should be from Lucknow
And muskaan should be from patna.
The question is incorrect and so is the figure drawn.

Question:

DIRECTIONS: Study the following information and answer the given questions:

    

Eight friends Mansi, Mohini, Manju, Mamta, Monika, Muskaan, Mumtaj and Megha are sitting around a square table but not necessarily in the same order. All are facing the centre. Each of them are from different cities, viz.- Hissar, Mumbai, Delhi, Chandigarh, Gurgaon, Patna, Lucknow, Shimla (not necessarily in the same order).

    

Mumtaj is not the neighbour of the person who is from Gurgaon. Megha is not from Chandigarh. Manju and Mohini and Mansi and Manju do not sit together but Mohini and Mansi sit together. Muskan sits opposite to the person who is from Gurgaon and immediate right of Megha. Megha sits at the corner and Mansi, who is from Hissar sits opposite to the person who is from Mumbai. Mumtaj and the person who is from Delhi sit opposite to each other. Monika sits second to the right of Muskan, who is not from Patna. Both the persons who are from Shimla and Chandigarh sit opposite to each other. Megha sits third to the left of the person who is from Mumbai.

Four of the following five are alike in a certain way and so, form a group. Which is the one that does not belong to that group?
Options:
A) Mansi-Mumbai
B) Mohini-Delhi
C) Manju-Shimla
D) Monika-Hissar
E) Mamta-Lucknow

Ans: (b)

  • Megha sits at the corner and Megha sits third to the left of the person who is from Mumbai and Mansi, who is from Hissar sits opposite to the person who is from Mumbai.
  • Muskan sits opposite to the person who is from Gurgaon and immediate right of Megha.
  • Mumtaj is not the neighbour of the person who is from Gurgaon.
  • Mumtaj and the person who is from Delhi sit opposite to each other.
  • Monika sits second to the right of Muskan.
  • Megha is not from Chandigarh. 
  • Both the persons who are from Shimla and Chandigarh sit opposite to each other. 
  • Manju and Mohini do not sit together but Mohini and Mansi sit together.
  • Monika  is not from Patna. Therefore, Mumtaj is from Patna and Muskaan is from Lucknow.

Dear Student,
Given text is correct, its given that Mushkan is not from Patna, so how can it be???? Please draw the figure as per text given, its correct.
