here option b should be correct as mentioned in the solution as well.

Question:

The Economic Survey 2016-17 mentions about an Indian Paradox. What is it talking about?

Options:
A)

The convergence of the porous borders of India with health and income outcomes

B)

8-9 millions of Indians migrate to work every year, which is surprisingly more than double the current estimates

C)

The failure of Competitive Federalism and the proposal to introduce competitive sub-federalism

D)

India standing at a good place in the world economy despite hostile external economic environment and demonetisation

E)

None of these

Solution:

The Economic Survey 2016-17 mentions about an Indian Paradox. It mentions the fact that 8-9 millions of Indians migrate to work every year, which is surprisingly more than double the current estimates. This means that India’s borders are quite porous, however this is not converging in the health and income outcomes.

No... Option B is an observation, the paradox is related to that... The option just states the fact that India's borders are more porous than were previously thought. The paradox is that even after that the health and income outcomes are not converging. So, E is correct
