How did you got option "D" from the solution given by you. According to me it should have been option "C" since in 4 out of 5 options 1st and 3rd person are husband & wife. Option "C" is the only option without this pattern.

Question:

DIRECTIONS: Study the following sitting arrangement carefully and answer the given questions.

Jiya, Piya, Quran, Rohit, Sandeep, Tiya, Urmi and Vishnu are sitting in a circle facing the centre in which four are married couples. The profession of the males within the group are Lecturer, Lawyer, Doctor and Scientist. Among the males, only Rohit (the Lawyer) and Vishnu (the Scientist) are sitting together. Each man is seated besides his wife. Urmi the wife of the Lecturer is seated second to the right of Vishnu. Tiya seated between Urmi and Vishnu. Piya is the wife of the Doctor. Quran is not the doctor. Sandeep is a male.
Four of the following are alike in a certain way based on their sitting position in the above arrangement and so form a group. Which is the one that does not belong to the group?
Options:
A) Rohit-Sandeep-Jiya
B) Tiya-Rohit-Vishnu
C) Urmi-Tiya-Vishnu
D) Sandeep-Quran-Piya
E) Urmi-Vishnu-Tiya
