Incorrect Answer Option (Question: 103661.1 )

Till now what has been taught us is that we can not decide the gender of any person simply based on the name of the person.Here in 77 Q,I didn't understand how can we decide that who is the husband and who is the wife as nothing is mentioned about their gender in the given info.

Question:

DIRECTIONS: Study the given information carefully and answer the questions  given below.

1. Shinay, Ramesh and Shikhar are children of Mr. and Mrs. Ramnani.

2. Rani, Ranu and Sindhu are children of Mr. and Mrs. Malya.

3. Sindhu and Shinay are married couple and Amaan and Santosh are their children.

4. Geetanjali and Roshan are children of Mr. and Mrs. Goswami.

5. Geetanjali is married to Shikhar and has three children named Ruhi, Samaksh and Rajan.

How is Ramesh related to Amaan?

Options:
A) Brother-in-law
B) Maternal uncle
C) Cousin
D) Father-in-law
E) None of these
Solution:

Sol: (b) Amaan is the son of Ramesh’s sister Shinay, therefore, Ramesh is the maternal uncle of Amaan.
