‘P ⊕ Q’ means ‘P is greater than Q.‘

‘P © Q’ means ‘P is either greater than or equal to Q.’

‘P = Q’ means ‘P is equal to Q.’

‘P @ Q’ means ‘P is smaller than Q.’

‘P @ Q’ means ‘P is either smaller than or equal to Q.’

Statements:

I @ R, D @ I, E = C, R ⊕ E

Conclusions:

I. R ⊕ C

II. I = R

Options:
A) If only I is true.
B) If only conclusion II is true.
C) If either conclusion I or II is true.
D) If neither I nor II is true.
E) If both are true.
Solution:

Ans: (a)

Statements: I ≤ R, D < I, E = C, R > E

Conclusions:

I.  R > C

II.  I = R

I follows from R > E and E = C. II can’t be true as there are no equalities involving I or R in given statements.
