Dear Student, Let there be x litres water in the cask (After 2nd operation, water left in the cask )/(Volume of cask) =((x - 9)/x)^2=16/25 ⇒(x - 9)/x=4/5 ⇒ x = 45 Keep Learning with Us Best Wishes Team Toprankers
