I am getting following arrangement (Question: 109965.0 )

m5 m7 m6 m4 m10 m1 m3/m8 m2 m9 m8/m3

Question:

DIRECTIONS: Read the following information and answer the questions based on it. 

Ten students M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, M6, M7, M8, M9 and M10 are sitting in a row facing west. 

(i)M2 and M6 are not sitting on either of the edges. 

(ii)M7 is sitting to the left of M4 and M8 is sitting to the right of M10.

(iii) There are four persons between M5 and M1. 

(iv) M2 is to the north of M9 and M6 is to the south of M4. 

(v) M9 is in between M1 and M4 and M7 is in between M5 and M6. 

(vi) There are two persons between M8 and M3. 

Who is sitting at the seventh place counting from the left? 
Options:
A) M8
B) M3
C) M10
D)

Either M8 or M3                          

E) None of these 
Solution:

Ans: (d) 

We start with this line, There are four persons between M5 and M1 and M9 is in between M1 and M4 and M7 is in between M5 and M6. M7 is sitting to the left of M4. and M8 is sitting to the right of M10 and two persons between M8 and M3.

 M3 is seventh from left.

Note:- here north indicates right and south indicates left of the persons because they all are facing west.

(v) M10 is in between M1 and M4 and M7 is in between M5 and M6.

(vi) There are two persons between M8 and M3.

Note: here place of of M3 and M8 are not fixed, they can be on any positions of those two points........Please remember while answering questions that all the persons are facing west and answer the questions accordingly..............:)
