how to solve it

Question:
DIRECTIONS: Each of these questions consists of six statements followed by sets of three statements each. Find the set in which the third statement can be logically concluded from the first two statements.

(A) No bird is a tiger.

(B) No deer is tiger.

(C) Some bears are not tigers.

(D) Many deers are not bears.

(E) Some bears are birds.

(F) No deer is bird.

Options:
A) AEC
B) BFD
C) EFD
D) FBD
E) None of these
Solution:

Choice (a) → Does not violate any rule.

Choice (b) → Both the Statements are negative.

Choice (c) → The term ‘bear”, which is distributed in the conclusion is not distributed in the Statements.

Choice (d) → All the statements are negative.

Hi Sakshi, first see the direction given, need to find the set in which the third statement can be logically concluded from the first two statements....which means in the set, first two will be statements and the third conclusion...and then see which one is correct...

Go through option to solve these questions..

in first question, statements A,B,C,D,E and F are given..
Option(a) is AEC...Lets check it..
in this first two means A and E are statements and third means E is conclusion..

So,

Statements:

(A)No bird is a tiger.
(E)Some bears are birds.

Concluion:
(C)Some bears are not tigers.(Follows)

Hence, option(a) does not violate rule....

Do the same for others also...

Choice (a) → Does not violate any rule.
Choice (b) → Both the Statements are negative.
Choice (c) → The term ‘bear”, which is distributed in the conclusion is not distributed in the Statements.
Choice (d) → All the statements are negative.
