After rearranging the digits we get, 9765432 Now, the pairs of digit 9&5 and 5&3 have same distance from one another as that in the arrangement 7425639. There are evidently two such pairs. Hence, the correct option is B.

Given Number: 7425639

After arranging it in descending order, we get

9765432

Now, see:
742 (5) 6 (3) 9
976 (5) 4 (3) 2

5 and 3 are at same positions. so, required number of digits = two
