Ans Should Be Y>=X.

Question:

DIRECTIONS: In these questions, two equations numbered I and II are given. You have to solve both the equations and mark the appropriate answer.

I.  12x2 + 7x + 1 = 0

II.  6y2+ 5y + 1 = 0

Options:

If x > y

B)

If x < y

If x = y or Relationship between x and y cannot be established.

Dear Student,
Answer marked and solution is correct, -0.25 is greater than -0.33 and -0.50 AND -0.33 is equal to -0.33 and greater than -.50.
So, X >= Y.
