What is the ratio between the total selling price and total marked price of all the articles together?

Options:
A)

117 : 197

B)

197 : 211

C)

51 : 59

D)

461 : 503

E)

None of these

Solution:

Ans: (e)

Total selling price of all the articles = 216 + 375 + 192 + 544 + 520 + 675 + 600 = 3122

Total marked price of all the articles = 360 + 500 + 200 + 640 + 800 + 900 + 750 = 4150

Required ratio = 3122 : 4150 = 1561 : 2075
