which formula has been used in this question to find the smallest odd number and the highest even number?

Question:

The average of 8 consecutive odd numbers is 82, and the sum of 4 consecutive even numbers is 348. What is the sum of odd smallest number and even largest number?

150

147

Solution:

Ans: (e) 

Smallest No.=  \(82 – 8 + 1 = 75 \)

Largest No.=\(\cfrac{348}{4}+ 4-1 = 90 \)\(\cfrac{348}{4}+ 4-1 = 90 \)

Required number = 75 + 90 = 165

if they given consecutive odd number or even number then we will find smallest and largest number of the series.
82-average of the series 8-total number if we find smallest no put +1 largest means -1.
