What is the minimum number of people who have planned to buy mobile phone as well as gold Jewellery in next 6 months?

Solution:

Ans: (a) People buying mobile phone and/or gold jewellery are people other than those buying none. Only for Delhi and Bangalore, some of the people have to buy mobile phone as well as gold jewellery.

∴ % of people planning to buy both things in Delhi

= 13.8 + 4.0 - 17 

= 0.8%. In Bangalore = 6.6 + 29.2 - 35 = 0.8%.

∴ Minimum number of people planning to buy both things.
