EXPLAIN (Question:271911.0)

In thirty students in a row facing north....10th from left=21st from the right
But how u made the qustion i don't know..please explain me ?

Question:

Thirty boys are standing in a queue facing north. R is 10th from the left and L is 11st from the right end. How far, will K, who is 3rd to the right of R in the row, be from L?

Options:
A)

5th

B)

3rd

C)

6th

D)

9th

E)

None of these

Solution:
K's position from left end =13th

total=30

K's position from right end = total - position from left + 1

30 - 13 + 1= 18th

L's position from right end= 11th

so,

18 - 11 = 7th position from L
