Anu's monthly income is twice Pooja's monthly income. \({2 \over 3}\) of Pooja's monthly income is equal to Preeti's monthly income. If Preeti's annual income is Rs.2.4 lakhs, then what is Anu's monthly income?

Solution:

Ans: (a)

Preeti's monthly Income : 

\(\frac{240000}{12} = 20000\)


\(\frac{2}{3}Pooja = 20000\)


Pooja = 30,000


Anu's Monthly income : 30000 * 2 = 60,000
