plz change the required ans to Km (not cm)

Question:

A train covers a distance between stations A and B in 45 minutes. If the speed is reduced by 5 km/hr, it will cover the same distance in 48 minutes. What is the distance between the two stations A and B (in km)? Also, find the speed of the train ?

Options:
A)

60 km, 80 km/hr.

B)

65 km, 70 km/hr.

C)

60 km, 70 km/hr.

D)

Can’t be determined

Solution:

Speed of train=  × 5

= 80 kmph

and distance = (speed × Time)

=  × 5 ×  = 60 km

2nd Method:-

t =  4560    hrs. =  34    hrs.

D = S × T

Distance remaining the same

S1 T1 = S2 T2

15S1=16S1 - 80

S1 = 80 km/hr.

D = S1T1 = 80 ×  34 = 60 km
