i think this might be an error in the calculation in cost of one bottle ,beacuse 12 dozen means 144 not 156.

Question:
A manufacturer of patent medicines gives one dozen extra bottles of the medicine for every order of 12 dozens. A discount of 25% is also offered to the trader on the marked price. If a bottle is marked Rs.117, find the lowest price at which a bottle can be sold without any loss.
Options:
A) 81
B) 91
C) 109
D) 113
E) None of these
Solution:

Discount of 25% offered on M.P. = Rs.117

\(\therefore\)Cost after discount =  \(\frac{75}{100}\) × 117

= Rs.87.75/ bottle

Cost of 12 dozen bottles

= 87.75 × 12 × 12

= 12636

Total bottle 13 x 12 = 156

∴ Cost of one bottle = \(\frac{12636}{156}\)  = Rs.81
