error correction in a part (Question: 92074.4 )

because unless always define condition and until defines time.so,here unless is use in place of until.

Question:
DIRECTIONS: In the following questions, some of the sentences have errors and some have none. Find out which part of a sentence has an error. If there is no error; mark your answer as ‘No error.
Until the man (a)/ claiming to be a police officer(b)/ does not show me his credentials,(c)/ I will not open the front door. (d)/No Error(e)/

The error is in part c. The correction is to replace 'does not show me his credentials', by 'shows me his credentials'. The use of 'until' at the beginning of the sentence makes the use of 'does not' unnecessary.
