They have kept their luggage....The error should be :A
But here it's showing error as C
Can you explain

Question:
DIRECTIONS: Read each sentence to find out whether there is any grammatical error in it. The error, if any, will be in one part of the sentence. Mark the part with the error as your answer. If there is no error, mark 'No Error' as your answer. (Ignore errors of punctuation, if any)
These passengers have complained (a)/ that they lost (b)/ their luggages (c)/ kept in the cloak room last night. (d)/ No error (e)
Options:
A) (a)
B) (b)
C) (c)
D) (d)
E) (e)
Solution:

Ans: (c) their luggages

The error is in (c) in which an uncountable noun (“luggage”) is used countably. Uncountable nouns cannot take a plural form or be followed by a plural verb. The nouns “luggage” and “baggage” are uncountable and they should be preceded and followed by singular verbs. Where’s my baggage? If one likes to refer to single items of luggage or baggage, one can say, “pieces or items of luggage or two items of baggage, ten pieces of heavy luggage", etc.

The correction: … they have lost their luggage kept in….
