If the income of Company A in 2007 and that of B in 2009 are \(\unicode{x20B9} \)52.49 lakh and \(\unicode{x20B9} \) 61.2 lakh respectively, what is the total expenditure of Company A in 2007 and that of B in 2009 ?
Options:
A) \(\unicode{x20B9} \)79.6 lakh.
B) \(\unicode{x20B9} \)80.4 lakh.
C) \(\unicode{x20B9} \)81.2 lakh.
D) \(\unicode{x20B9} \)82.5 lakh.

You must know the formula,
Profit percentage = {(Income-Expenditure)/Expenditure}*100

Now calculate expenditure(x) for Company A,
45 = {(52.49-x)/x}*100
45x=5249-100x
45x+100x=5249
145x=5249
x=5249/145 = 36.2

Do same for company B and then add both to get answer...
