Solve using this pattern
Total outcomes = 6 x 6 = 36

Favorable outcomes = {3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 24, 30, 36} = 9

Probability = Favorable outcomes/ Total outcomes

= 9/36 = 1/4

why can't the favorable outcomes come like this !!!
{1,3 1,6 2,3 2,6 3,1 3,2 3,3 3,4 3,5 3,6 4,3 4,6 5,3 5,6 6,1 6,2 6,3 6,4 6,5 6,6}=20 events
20/36=5/9
probability should be 5/9
correct me if i am wrong !!!!

Two unbiased dice thrown at random. What is the probability that the product of outcomes is multiple of 3.
Options:
A) 1/2
B) 1/16
C) 1/4
D) 3/8
E) None of these
Solution:

Total outcomes = 6 x 6  = 36
