how can I figure out here whether you asked face diagonal or body diagonal?

The surface area of a cube is 600 cm2. The length of its diagonal is:
Options:
A) \(3\sqrt{20}\)  cm
B) \(10\sqrt{2}\)  cm
C) \(10\sqrt{3}\)  cm
D) \(3\sqrt{15}\)  cm
E) None of these
Solution:

Ans:(c)

Surface area of cube = 6a2 = 600 cm2

\(\Rightarrow\)  a = 10 cm

 \(\therefore\)Length of diagonal = \(\sqrt{3}a=10\sqrt{3}\)

Diagonal of a cube always means body diagonal because face diagonal means diagonal of a square.
