Doubt? (Question: 115058.0 )

In question it is said that G2 is not at right end. that implies, G2 is at one of the two ends right? it should be at left end?
how u have placed it at center?
Please clarify

Question:

DIRECTIONS  : These questions are based on following information.


Six Men (B1, B2, B3,B4  B5, and B6) facing south and six women (G1, G2, G3, G4, G5 and G6) are facing north sitting in two different rows, and facing each other.


It is also known that;

(1) B3 is sitting to the immediate right of B6, B3 is not opposite G3.

(2) Neither B4 nor B1, are at the ends.G2 is not at the right end.

(3) B6 is sitting opposite G5, who is to the immediate left of G2, B2 is sitting opposite G1,.

(4) G6 is sitting to the left of G3 and G1

(5) B3 is not sitting at any end.

(6) G6 is not sitting at any end.

Which of the following pairs is siting at one of the ends?

Options:
A) B3 and G6
B)

B5, and G2

C) B5 and G4
D)

B6 and G5

E)

None of these

Solution:

Ans: (c) B5 and G4 are sitting are at the ends.


From (1) and (3) we can say that B3 is to the immediate right to B6. B6 is opposite G5 who is immediate left of G2 i.e,

It is given that G2 is not at right extreme end. Neither B4 nor B1 are at any extreme end. G6 is to the left of G3 and G1. G6 is not at an extreme end.

∴ The possible arrangements are.


But from the given information, case (i) is eliminated as G2 is not at right extreme end.

Also we can eliminate case (ii), as in this arrangement B3 is opposite to G3, which is not possible.

We can also eliminate case (iv), as B3 is not at any extreme end.

∴ The final arrangement is as follows.

No, you are wrong.................G2 is not at right end never implies that G2 is place left end................G2 can be place anywhere except right end.............
