please give detailed explanation. Answer is not satisfactory.

Question:
DIRECTIONS: Given question is followed by two statements, I and II. Answer the question by selecting the correct alternative.

Six persons Ishi, Jolly, Kitty, Dinky, Emi and Ferry sit in a row facing North, but not necessarily in the same order. Who sits at the right end of the row?

I. Jolly sits exactly between Dinky and Ishi, who sits exactly between Kitty and Ferry.

II. There are exactly two persons sitting between Kitty and Ferry, who sits to the left of Ishi. Dinky sits to the immediate right of Kitty and is to the immediate left of Jolly.

Options:
A) Statement I and II are sufficient.
B) Either statement I alone or II alone is sufficient.
C) Statement II alone is sufficient.
D) Statement I alone is sufficient.
E) Statements I and II also are not sufficient.
Solution:

Ans (e) I alone is not sufficient, as either Kitty or Ferry sits at the right end.

Hence I, alone is not sufficient.

II alone is not sufficient, place of Emi is undefined.

∴ I and II are not sufficient.

I. Jolly sits exactly between Dinky and Ishi, who sits exactly between Kitty and Ferry. Kitty does not sit at any end of the row but sits to the immediate right of Ishi.

Dinki/Ishi Jolly Dinki/Ishi

Kitty/Ferry Ishi Kitty/Ferry

Ishi Kitty

we can not arrange....so statement I is not sufficient to answer the question.

II. There are exactly two persons sitting between Kitty and Ferry, who sits to the left of Ishi. Dinky sits to the immediate right of Kitty and is to the immediate left of Jolly.

Kitty/Ferry _ _ Kitty/Ferry

Ferry Ishi

Kitty Dinky Jolly Ferry Ishi

So, Ishi sits at the right end...

Hence, only statement II is sufficient to answer the question.
