How come total work =60? Plz give a clear explanation

Question:
A, B and C contract to do a work for Rs. 4200. A can do the work in 6 days, B in 10 days and C in 12 days. If they work together to do the work, what is the share of C?
Options:
A) Rs.2000
B) Rs.1200
C) Rs.1000
D) Rs.1500
E) None of these
Solution:

C’s share =  \(\frac{5}{(10+6+5)}\) × Rs. 4200

=  \(\frac{5}{21}\) × 4200 = Rs.1000
