doubt on the puzzle (Question:924826.3)

if in the question it is mentioned U faces north then how in the answer it is oppositely solved?

DIRECTIONS: Study the following information carefully and answer the questions:

P, Q, R, S, T, U and V are sitting in two parallel rows containing four seats each, in such a way that there is an equal distance between adjacent persons. Persons of row 1 are facing South and persons of row 2 are facing North. T sits at the extreme end of the row but does not face P. Neither R nor V faces Q.
