directions are not given clearly. (Question: 123881.1 )

These should be like as "immediate left or immediate right. how can anybody get that.

Question:

DIRECTIONS: These questions are based on the following information.


Eight persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and H are sitting around a circular table. Not all of them are facing the centre of the table. Some are facing the centre and some are facing away from the centre. It is known that, H is third to the right of A, who is third to the left of D. E is third to the right of C. F who is facing the centre, is to the immediate right of H. B is sitting to the left of H and right of D. C is to the immediate left of F. C and G are facing the same direction.

Which direction is G facing and who is to the right of G?

Options:
A) Centre, B 
B) Away from the centre, E
C) Centre, E
D) Cannot be determined
E) None of these
Solution:

Ans: (b) G is facing away from the center and E is to the right of G.


From the given information we get the following arrangements



A is third to the left of D and H is third to the right of A. From this we get the following.

 

E is third to the right of C is possible only, when C is facing away from the center, then G also facing away from the center.

The final arrangement as follows.
