DIRECTIONS: There questions are based on the following information.

Each of eight persons - A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H - lives on a different floor of an eight storeyed building (ground floor is numbered as the 1st floor, the first floor is numbered as the second floor and so on until the topmost floor is numbered as the 8^th floor). Each of them shops at one among the websites Myntra, Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Jabong, Shopclues, Paytm and Ebay but not necessarily in the same order. The following information is about them.

D lives two floors above the person who shop at Myntra. C lives on an odd numbered floor and lives two floors above the person who shops at Snapdeal. The one who shops at Jabong is adjacent to the person who shops at Snap deal. Only two persons live between the floors who shop at Jabong and Myntra. F lives on the floor which is immediately above B’s floor and either of them shops at Shopclues. Neither B nor the person who shops at Ebay lives on an odd numbered floor. H lives below the person who shops at Flipkart, who lives below the person who shops at Ebay. H does not live on the fourth floor but adjacent to the one who shops at Paytm. G lives immediately below the person who shops at Amazon, who lives below E’s floor.

Ans: (a) It is given that C lives on an odd numbered floor and lives two floors above the person who shops at Snapdeal. C lives on one of the floors 3^rd, 5^th and 7^th numbered floors. The person who shops at Jabong is above or below the floor of the person who shops at Snapdeal. Only two persons live between the floors who shop at Jabong and Myntra. D lives two floors above the person who shops at Myntra, who lives two floors below D. As F lives above B, who lives on an even numbered floor and either of them shops at Shopclues, the possible arrangement is as follows:

It is given, H who is not on the 4^th numbered floor lives below the person who shops at Flipkart, who lives below the person who shops at Ebay. H is adjacent to the person who shops at Paytm and the person who shops at Ebay lives on an even numbered floor. But this condition is not possible in case (1) and (2). So, they are eliminated. So, in case (3), H lives on the second floor, C shops at Paytm can be the possible case. As G lives below the person who shops at Amazon then in case (3), G lives on 6th floor and D shops at Amazon. So, the person on the 8th floor shops at Ebay, who is E and G shops at Flipkart. Then the remaining person A lives on the 1st floor. The final floor arrangement is as follows.
