Create a Pdf option to view solutions and analysis. (Question: 182300.3 )

An option of pdf should be there so that we can view our solutions offline in a.separate pdf form. Please it's a request to you to add this feature also.

Question:
DIRECTIONS : Answer the questions based on the following information.

Five friends, whose surnames are Mishra, Thakur, Siraj, Sharma and Nahar are married to girls named Richa, Shilpa, Nidhi, Preetu or Juhi, not necessarily in that order. Their first names are Sidhanth, Rahul, Vijay, Sanjay or Rohan and their middle names are Pankaj, Ram Das, Vikas, Kamlesh or Naresh.

• Mr. Mishra is married to Nidhi and Rohan Naresh is married to Richa.

• Vijay’s surname is not Mishra, Sharma or Nahar.

• Mr. Sharma’s middle name is Ram Das and Shilpa is his sister-in-law.

• All names associated with Sanjay, other than his middle name, start with the alphabet S’.

• Mr. Nahar’s middle name is Naresh.

• Juhi is married to the man whose middle name is Vikas.

• Sanjay’s middle name is not Pankaj or Naresh.

Who is Mr. Thakur married to?

A) Richa
B) Preetu
C) Juhi
D) Shilpa

Solution:

Ans:(c) Since Rohan Naresh is married to Richa and Mr. Nahar’s middle name is Naresh, Rohan’s full name is Rohan Naresh Nahar and his wife’s name is Richa. All names associated with Sanjay, except his middle name start with ‘5’. Therefore, Sanjay’s wife is Shilpa and his surname is either Siraj or Sharma. However, it is given that Shiipa is Mr. Sharma’ sister-in-law. Therefore, Sanjay’s surname is SiraJ.

Since Sanjay’s middle name is not Pankaj or Naresh, it can possibly be Ram Das, Vikas or Kamlesh. But Vikas is married to Juhi and Ram Das’ surname is Sharma. Since Sanjay’s surname is Siraj and he is married to Shilpa, his middle name cannot be Vikas or Ram Das. It has to be Kamlesh.

Since Vijay’s surname is not Sharma, Nahar or Mishra, his surname could have been Siraj or Thakur. Since Sanjay’s surname is Siraj. Vijay's surname is Thakur. This means that Sidhanth and Rahul have to be Mishra and Sharma (in no particular order).

Now, Mr. Sharma = Ram Das  Shilpa Mr. Mishra = Nidhi

Juhi = Vikas

This means that Juhi cannot be married to either Mr. Mishra or Mr. Sharma. Therefore, she is married to Mr. Thakur. Thus, Vijay’s middle name is Vikas and his wife is Juhi.

Since Mr. Mishra is married to Nidhi, Mr. Sharma has to be married to Preetu.

Therefore, Mr. Mishra = Pankaj = Nidhi Mr. Sharma = Ram Das Preetu

However, it cannot be said who among these two is Sidhanth and who is Rahul.
