What is the respective ratio between the average number of sunglasses sold by store P and store Q during all the given years?

Options:
A) 271 : 276
B) 217 : 216
C) 227 : 216
D) 113 : 115
E) None of these
Solution:

Ans: (c) Sum of the number of sun glasses sold by store P = 3405

Average number of sun glasses sold by store P = \(\cfrac{3405}{5}\) = 681

Sum of the number of sun glasses sold by store Q = 3240

Average number of sun glasses sold by store Q = \(\cfrac{3405}{5}\) = 648

Required ratio = 681 : 648 = 227 :216
