sir in the qs it is given that 11(1/4) is the overall profit then why 111(1/4) is being used in the solution

Question:
The cost price of a car is 9 times that of a bike. On selling a bike, there is a profit of 12 ½ %. The total profit on selling a car and a bike at Rs.11,12,500 is 11 ¼ %. Find the cost price of the bike.
Options:
A) Rs.85,000
B) Rs.92,500
C) Rs.97,500
D) Rs.1,00,000
E) None of these
Solution:

Let the cost price of the bike be Rs x

\(\therefore\) Cost price of the car= Rs 9 x

Given  Total Selling price of car and bike 11,12,500

\(\therefore\)111\(\cfrac{1}{4}\)% of (9 x + x)=1112500

\(\therefore\) x=1,00,000

The cost price of the bike is (x)=1,00,000
