G is wife of D then we can say D gender female

Question:

DIRECTIONS: A, B and D meet their relatives C, E, F and G while visiting the trade fair. A is the brother of B and D is the father of A. F is the only son of C and E. E, who is the brother-in-law of G and the father-in-law of B.

How many female members are there?
Options:
A) 2
B) 3
C) 4
D) 5
E) Cannot be determined
Solution:
Ans: (e) It is clear that A, D, E and F are males.

As, F is the son of C and E and E is male, C has to be female.

Now, G can be either males or females and the information provided is not sufficient to decide which one of them is of what gender.

The number of females cannot be determined.
