Since it was said that yellow lies between red and brown it doent meant that it was exactly between. Why it cant be like this
1 black G
2 Red F
3 Pink B
4 Orange D
5 Green A
6 Yellow E
7 Brown A

Question:

DIRECTIONS: Study the following information carefully to answer the given questions:

Seven persons A, B, C, D, E, F and G live on different floors in the same building having seven floors numbered from one to seven (the ground floor is numbered one, the floor above it is numbered two and so on.) Each of them likes different colours viz. Orange, Green, Yellow, Red, Black, Pink and Brown (but not necessarily in the same order). G does not live below F's floor. D lives below F's floor but not immediately below. C and E are neighbour and they like either Pink or Orange colour. D does not live on an odd numbered floor and not below C's floor. The one who lives immediately above A, likes Orange colour. C is not the neighbour of A. The one who lives on the top most floor likes Black colour. F or A likes neither Yellow nor Brown colour. The one who likes Yellow colour, lives between those who like Red and Brown colour. The one who likes Red colour lives immediately below of the one who likes Black colour.
