57% of 394 -2.5% of 996 = ?

Options:

Solution:

= \(\cfrac{394\times57}{100}-\cfrac{996\times2.5}{100}\)

= \(\cfrac{394\times57}{100}-\cfrac{1000\times2.5}{100}\)

≈ 225 – 25

≈ 200

∴ Required answer = 200
