my answer was correct and cannot be determined is incorrect.
if 63-36=27
and 6-3=3
so it satisfies both the conditions .

Please check and correct it.

Question:
The number obtained by interchanging the two digits of a two digit number is less than the original number by 27. If the difference between the two digits of the number is 3, what is the original number?
Options:
A) 74
B) 63
C) 85
D)

Cannot be determined

Solution:
Let the digit at unit's place be x and digit on tens place be y.
10y+x= old number

also, 10x+y=new number

10y-x-(10x-y)=27

9y-9x=27                           ...1

Also, its given that y-x=3    ...2

These two equations have infinitely many solutions.Hence, the number can't be determined.
