ANSWER SHOULD BE E (Question: 89874.0 )

I think that answer should be E as when x= -1 and y = -3 then x

Question:
DIRECTIONS: In the following questions two equations numbered I and II are given. You have to solve both the equations and give answer.
I.  x2-1=0


II. y2 + 4y + 3 = O
Options:
A) If x > y
B) lf x ≥ y
C) If x < y
D) If  x ≤ y
E) If x = y  or the relationship cannot be established.

X≥y is right answer because -1>-3 &-1=-1
