answer problem (Question: 131753.1 )

the question asked is difference in percentage.But the solution only gives the difference without calculating the percentage.Please explain why?

DIRECTIONS: Study the following pie chart carefully and answer the questions that follow:


The given pie chart shows the marks obtained by a student.



The marks obtained in Biology and Chemistry exceed the marks scored in English by
Options:
A) 23.35
B) 37.86
C) 56.24
D) 73.75
E) 85.28
Solution:

Marks scored in Biology and Chemistry = \(\cfrac{54+72}{360 }\)  × 590 = 206.5

Marks obtained in English = \(\cfrac{81}{360}\) × 590 = 132.75

Required difference = 73.75
