A is the answer

Question:
DIRECTIONS: In these questions, relationship between different elements is shown in the statements. The statements are followed by two conclusions. Mark answer from the given options.
Statements:

R = S \(\geq\) T > V; W \(\leq\) T

Conclusions: I. W \(\leq\) R
                    II. V < W
Options:
A) If only Conclusion I is true.
B) If only Conclusion II is true.
C) If either Conclusion I or II is true.
D) If neither Conclusion I nor II is true.
E) If both Conclusions I and II are true.
Solution:

Statements:

R = S \(\geq\) T > V; W \(\leq\) T

Conclusions: I. W \(\leq\) R (True)

                    II. V < W(False)

Hence, only Conclusion I is true.

Statements:

R = S ≥ T > V; W ≤ T

Conclusions: I. W ≤ R
II. V < W
We have R>T and W<T, so we can write R>W or W<R, so conclusion I is true. Now we have T>V and W<T, so W>V or V<W. Therefore conclusion II is also true.
Hence, both the conclusion I and II are true.
