about C (Question: 122843.0 )

its given C is sitting next to D...then how can C comes before D in the solution..

Question:

DIRECTIONS: Read the following information carefully and then answer the questions given below it. 


Five monkeys A, B, C, D and E are sitting on a branch of a tree.


I. A is sitting next to B.


II. C is sitting next to D.


III. D is not sitting with E.


IV. E is on the right end of the branch.


V. C is on second position from left.


VI. A is on the left side of B and B is on the left side of E.


VII. A and C are sitting together. 

At what position is A sitting?
Options:
A) Between B and C
B) Between D and C
C) Between E and D
D) Between C and F
Solution:
Ans: (a) Arrangement according to the question is as follows;-



Left    D   C   A   B  E   Right 


A is sitting between B and C.

Next to D doesn't mean that C will be placed immediate right of D..............it can be either right or left.....
