i dont understand about b's position

Question:

DIRECTIONS: Read the information given below and answer the questions that follows.

A, B, C, D and E are five friends. They are lined up twice in the order of their heights from tallest to shortest and in the order of cleverness from cleverest to dullest. A is the cleverest of all, but he is not the tallest one. C is taller than B who is not the shortest of all the five friends. D is the most moderate person in term of cleverness. The shortest friend is the most dullest of all, No one other than the dullest and the shortest has the same rank.

If D is fourth in terms of heights than who is the second tallest provided B is the second cleverest friend?
Options:
A) A
B) B
C) C
D) D
E) cannot be determined
Solution:

If B is second cleverest friend than B is not second in terms of height, also B cannot be first only position left is third, hence B has to be the third tallest, A cannot be tallest, so C is thus tallest friend and A is second tallest

C A B D E
