a qus (Question: 103840.0 )

arrangement is not affected by the direction,if in qus it is east then also same arrangement should be done, only left or right is changed when we talk talk about directions ,right?????????????????
plz do correct me if m wrng

Question:

DIRECTIONS: Read the following information carefully and answer the questions based on it.


Ten birds— Kiwi ,Parrot , Owl,  Cuckoo, Eagle, Crow, Sparrow, Pigeon, Peacock and Koel are sitting in a row facing West.


I. Kiwi and crow are not sitting on either of the edges.

II. There are four birds between Eagle and Kiwi, Eagle is at one of the corners and is south of Crow. 

III Peacock is to the North of Parrot and Crow is to the South of Cuckoo.

IV. Koel is immediate neighbor of Kiwi and Cuckoo and Sparrow is in between Eagle and Crow.

V. There are two birds between Pigeon and Owl. Crow is a neighbor of Cuckoo.

VI. Peacock is second from one of the end, and is north of Koel, Who is south of Kiwi.

Who is sitting at the seventh place counting from left?

Options:
A) Pigeon
B) Owl
C) Koel
D) Either Pigeon or Owl
E) None of these
Solution:

Ans (d) Either Pigeon or Owl will occupy seventh position from the left.

yes you right....you can solve it in either horizontal or vertical line but always remember the direction mentioned...
