not understood its solutions

Question:
The price of sugar falls down by 20% and a housewife is able to buy 5 kg more for Rs.100.

Quantity I: Original cost price of sugar in Rs. per kg.

Quantity II: Difference between initial and final price of sugar bought by Housewife.

Options:
A) Quantity I > Quantity II
B) Quantity I < Quantity II
C) Quantity I ≥ Quantity II
D) Quantity I ≤ Quantity II
E) Quantity I = Quantity II or the relation can’t be determined
Solution:

Ans (a)

Quantity I: Let the cost price of sugar initially be x Rs/kg.

Then according to question,

\(\cfrac{100}{0.8x}-\cfrac{100}{x}=5\)

x= 5 Rs/ kg

Quantity II:Difference between initial and final price of sugar bought by Housewife= 5-5×80/100 = 1
