plzz provide other solution by alligation and mixture

Question:
A trademan purchases two types of sugar at the rate of \(\unicode{x20B9} \)5 per kg and \(\unicode{x20B9} \)4 per kg. In what ratio should be mix them to earn a profit of 10% by selling the mixture at \(\unicode{x20B9} \)5 per kg ?
Options:
A) 6:5
B) 3:2
C) 2:5
D) 1:2
E) 5:2
Solution:
Let Ist type of sugar be x kg and IInd type of sugar be y kg.

\(\Rightarrow\)C.P of (x+y) kg = 5x+4y \(\unicode{x20B9} \)

then,  S.P (x+y) kg = C.P \(\times\)100+profit %/100

= (5x+ 4y) \(\times\)100+\(\cfrac{10}{100}\)

= (5x+4y) \(\times\)\(\cfrac{11}{10}\)

& S.P of (x+y) kg = 5 (x+y) [given]
\(\Rightarrow\)(5x+4y) \(\times\)\(\cfrac{11}{10}\)=5(x+y)

\(\Rightarrow\)55x+44y=50x+50y

\(\Rightarrow\)5x = 6y

\(\Rightarrow\)x/y = \(\cfrac{6}{5}\)

\(\Rightarrow\)x:y = 6:5.

Alligation Mixture:

for 10 Per Profit

5*110/100 = 5.5
4*110/100= 4.4

5.5 4.4

5

0.6 0.5

6:5
