Dear Student,

Answer marked is correct.

See:

Its given that Fifteen students are standing in horizontal row from left to right.

So, first of all draw a horizontal row and mark 15 points on it.

If all the odd numbered students in the row are shifted to successive odd—numbered positions,

means the student on 1 will interchange the place with the student on place 3, the student on 3 will interchange the place with the student on place 5......and so on as shown in the figure.

Last line says Sonam was 7th from the left end in the row initially.

on interchanging sonam will be 9th from left end.

Now question is: what will be the position of Sonam???

Sonam's position is 9th from left means 7th from right.
